The white color adds some bling. The grip of the clamps is good. The weight and quality of the item is very high. Would recommend. Dont have carbon bars so can't comment on that.

This stem lasted me two seasons of hard riding on my road bike. However, it ultimately broke on a rather rough ride through staten island in NYC. The break point was near one of the bolts and Jensen. On tributes my purchase price towards a Thomson stem. Very cool of them.

Easton makes some of the best aluminum and carbon fiber bike components, period. The EA90 stem is their top-of-the line stem and boy is it light. The machining is gorgeous, the design is subtle, and it's strong as hell. This stem just looks fast. I coupled it with the MonkeyLite Carbon fiber stem and it looks great, and feels light as air. I love Easton stuff, and this stem doesn't disappoint.

Very easy to use. Like the bolting of the faceplate. It is very secure around the Easton EA70 drop bar I attached to it. The stem has no movement or flex in any direction except a slight bit rotationally. Definitely feels like I have more control over the bike with this stem than the stock Giant stem that was on my bike.
The mat white finish shows dirt and grease smears easily. Cleans well though.
