Easton EC 90 SL Carbon Stem 2015
To put it simply, the Easton EC90 SL stem is the lightest, and most sturdy stem in the world. It’s also capable of handling years of abuse. Easton wanted to create an incredibly lightweight component that would handle harsh surfaces such as the cobble-stone roads of the Paris-Roubaix. They achieved that and more. The EC90 SL is so strong it will also be right at home on any crosscountry or cyclocross bike.
Easton’s Tapperwall™ technology allows precise placement of additional material where strength is need, and less where compliance is the desired result. TapperWall™ increases strength and durability while also producing components that are lively, responsive and deliver additional ride quality.
Along with Tapperwall™, Easton adds Top Lock technology to the EC90 SL, which, when properly installed, immobilizes the stems face plate against the surface of the stem. This design eliminates the possibility of the plate flexing, vibrating, or applying uneven pressure to the handlebar.
