If you are sold on the Ergon fit then these won't disappoint. In my opinion the most comfortable grips on the market and add control climbing or in the air.

These grips are a must for me, and are actually my second pair. Well worth it! I used to wear padded gloves but this design negates the need for that by providing appropriate support.

Comments about Ergon GS1 MTB Racing Grips:

Before I purchased these grips, my bike has a standard handgrips but I didn't enjoy biking because my hands hurt too much and my hands would become numb. Right from the start, these handgrips completely eliminated the pain I was experiencing. I still get numbness in my hands but I am still tweaking the position of the handgrips to eliminate that. They were a little more expensive than I wanted to spend but they were worth every penny since I have no more hand pain!

Comments about Ergon GS1 MTB Racing Grips:

They definitely enhance comfort and control on long rides as claimed, quality design, nice look. They seem a bit heavy, but the return is well worth it. I went with the "small" and glad I did as they are sufficiently long. Wish they were a bit cheaper, overall happy with the purchase.

I really like the ergon grips for long rides, especially on long descents, where they help your hands from cramping up.

Comments about Ergon GS1 MTB Racing Grips:

I always had problems with my hands going numb. I tried gloves with pads, which helped, but my hands still bothered me after a couple of hours.

I was a die hard Odi Rogue/Oury grip fan until I rented a bike that had these installed on it. After that all of my bikes got these, my dad even changed the grips on all of his bikes to these after trying mine.

I don't know how I used to ride a bike without these, I would rather give up my disc brakes that these.

Comments about Ergon GS1 MTB Racing Grips:

Before I discovered Ergon grips, my hands would hurt after riding for even 20 minutes. I first used the GP1s, and while those helped my hand pain, they were a little too big for my small-ish hands.

The GS1s are slightly smaller, and they do just as good of a job of keeping my hands happy. Not the lightest grip out there, but I can ride all day without hand pain or loss of control on technical sections.

One handy tip: carry an allen wrench with you after you install them for the first time. They take a while to get adjusted, so be patient and move them up and down a couple of millimeters at a time until they just seem to disappear under your hands.
