Starting with a v-shaped design, the SME3 allows for a full range of position changes to accommodate the frequent adjustments in saddle height. Considering the indecisive manners of enduro racing, Ergon reformed the padding of their popular XC saddle as a means of flattening out the profile and eliminating the kick up at the rear to allow hasty switches between sitting to standing to crushing a decent from behind the saddle. The EVA padding and flex optimized shell prolong comfort during brutally long days of pedaling undulating terrain, while the microfiber cover is both lightweight and robust, ensuring longevity without adding unnecessary weight.
