There are mostly two standards on bearing angle, 36° and 45°. I learned the hard way that this crown race will only work correctly with 36° bearings.

How do you use this there are no instructions? I have an OEM FSA Gravity DL integrated headset. It looks nothing like the original race. The bearings move around on it. You can't install the original race on it. I suspect it is made for sealed cartridge bearings not these cheap ball bearings.

I ordered a carbon mountain bike frame online. What was not specified was that the steering tube dimension of 1-1/8 top and 1.5 bottom are becoming common on carbon model bikes. The forks I use are mostly 1-1/8 inch in steering tube diameter. The crown reducer saved me money on having to buy a new fork or a completely new headset.

this allowed me to run my 1-1/8" steer tube domains in a 1-1/8-1.5" tapered headset. Been out for a few rides, seems to work well, with no issues. Way cheaper than a new headset, and most headsets that claim to be "reducers" seem to only provide one of these reducer races anyway... so to date a great product at a great price.

If you have an FSA headset and this works for you, there is none better. It is much cheaper than buying a lower headset. My bike feels plenty stiff with it installed.

I used this to get a new fork that didn't have a tapered steerer tube to fit my tapered head tube on my diamondback mission. It only fits certain headsets so make sure of yours before you get it. For me it was a miracle cure that saved me from buying a very expensive headset. It has not flexed that I have noticed and i have already been jumping and dropping on it.
