Tight clearances are good but will cause some work during installation. I installed the cups by placing a thick piece of plywood on them and hitting the plywood with a hammer (FSA engineer winces). I put this on a Haro BMX bike. I do plan to buy the sealed bearing version of this for a Specialized BMX that I'm working on. Others have mentioned tight clearances with the front brake but I don't have one so can't comment.

Ok, so it was cheap, I know you get what you pay for. But there was play in it, and I couldn't get rid of the play. Obviously I am not going to ride with play in the fork. So I bought a Cane Creek entry level headset for five dollars more. It is a much more refined design that actually shows some engineering know how and looks much better on the bike. Installed the Cane Creek easily and no longer have play in the fork. I suggest going with something a little better than this FSA. I didn't realize how much I like sealed bearings untill I installed this pig of a headset.

I've used both the pig big and the pig headsets for years. Both I highly recommend, they are strong, easy to service, and very smooth. Not the lightest, but I wouldn't skimp on headset strength to save a couple of grams anyway.
