I never understood why a wet lube was marketed as good in muddy conditions... Rain, maybe, but a lube of this viscosity only attracts dirt and grime, therefore accelerating chain wear.
I've used this product on very rainy road rides and races. It does aid in shifting over the period of the ride, but the chain (and the rear wheel) requires a full clean immediately after the event. It splatters and coats everything. A mess!
Tried it in one particularly muddy cyclocross race. Not a good idea. Just made it very difficult to clean the grit from between chain bushings and plates afterwards.

I use it in Mountain Biking specially in long distances.
I prefer in dry season than in wet, because this product atracts dirt.

I use this lube on my MTB but not on my road bike. The reason for this is that it is great for long lasting use because it stays on the chain. However, its kindof thick of it adds a little resistance to the chain. Its more greaselike and less oillike if you know what I mean. Its a little thick but it lasts a long time. Not so great for road bikes. White Lightning is better for smoothness on the roadie.Higher viscosity I think they would say? That said, its great for offroad use because you can ride through puddles and streams and get really wet and stuff and it doesn't wear off.
