I have only used these shoes for the past few days in some fairly bad NY weather, cold and rainy for days. These shoes hold their traction to the pedals with no slip at all even with mud and water soaked into them. I use clipless on my road bike and these feel like clipless on my mountain bike. Perfect if you have to dump your ride due to a fall without taking it down on top of you. Size is true to your size. A bit stiff at first, but they seem to break in fast.

Really good shoes with a lot of grip!!! I use them with NanoStar Pedals and the combination just rocks !!! Excellent grip as I said with lot of foot protection, are comfortable to walk if you need it.

Best shoe for flat pedal riding I've worn. Although I have since switched to clipless (my shins thanked me) these shoes combined with a quality pair of flats was almost as good as being clipped in. I keep them around for days where I'm riding downhill or using someone elses bike.

These shoes have excessive ammounts of gripping power. So much in fact, you can't reposition your foot on the pedal without lifting up. It was annoying at first, but on the trails I am absolutely glued to the pedals. After a year of riding the soles show some wear, but no noticeable loss in grip. The shoes are heavy though, about the same weight as my light hiking boots. I don't race, the weight doesn't matter to me.

These shoes work great with just about any flat pedal. The stealth rubber really keeps you planted on your pedals. They are a good investment as they are durable and will last you a long time. They aren't too bad for walking around in once you get to the bottom of the hill either.

This is the shoe that rocks them all. 5 Ten soles rock the platform pedal.
It's like being clipped in, without the worry of no being able to get away from your bike when you don't land right.

I bought these shoes hoping they would help my feet from going numb. So far my feet still go numb but it is taking longer for it to happen. Hoping once I get the shoes broken in properly this stops.

The shoes are sized small, so order one size up from what you normally would. I don't know who they had create their sizes but the person needs to stop using someone with small feet for size comparison.

The tongue is padded, feels like it could use a little less padding at first but it breaks in quick with use.

Also these the tongue is attached on one side, I'm not sure what benefit this gives other than causing the show to bite into my ankles if I try and pull the tongue into the other side of the shoe too much.

Other than that, these shoes do have solid construction and compared to most of the shoes I wear are pretty light weight. But then I really shouldn't compare motorcycle/hiking/work boots to cycling shoes.

These shoes have tons of grip. You literally have to lift your feet off of the pedals to get them off. There is no more sliding around and worrying that your feet will slip off. All you need to do is match them up with a good set of pedals.
