Fizik Antares VS X Saddle With K:ium Rail
We don't know about you, but if there is one component on a bike to snob over, its saddles. This isn't to say this saddle is better than that one and so on, but lets be real here; butts come in all shapes and sizes, as do riding styles and bike geometies. Therefore, there is no one perfect saddle for all riders which is why Fizik categorizes there saddles into spirit animals. The Antares falls into the Chameleon category which is for riders with semi-flexible spine.
The Fizik Antares VS X Saddle features the company's famous K:ium rails which are saddle rails made of a special alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent vibration damping (8% weight reduction compared to solid titanium). Atop, this saddle features a Nylon carbon-reinforced base with up to 20mm deep pressure relief channel for comfort and performance. A Wing Flex shell flexes downward where the inner thigh contacts the saddle, allowing more efficient pedaling and a full-range of motion, and a thermo-welded cover provides flat transition between different panels. In other words, you can move around on it. The saddle includes Fizik's Integrated Clip System (ICS), allowing a tool-free interface in the saddle base that allows quick attachment and removal of Fizik saddle bags and blinking lights.
