Fizik is a brand that represents the competitive fire that burns deep within each and every one of ourselves. Whether you're racing at the local pro circuit or a cycling enthusiast commuting from point A to point B. We all have that competitive edge that makes us push ourselves beyond our limits from time to time. With its new line-up of performance oriented components, Fizik's revolutionary spine concept guideline aims to find you the best fit for your form by taking into account your spine type and flexibility to help you push above and beyond your limits without sacrificing comfort in the long run.
Let's face it, we are not all built the same, and Fizik has taken it well into consideration. Our flexibility affects our riding behavior when we are laying down the wattage at high performance levels. The Cyrano line is Fizik's latest range of high performance components using the Spine technology concept. The Fizik Cyrano R3 Aluminum "Chameleon" Bar was designed for the moderately flexible rider and features a similar shape to the Bull bar, but with slightly deeper drop and longer reach for aggressive positioning. Its aluminum construction provides great strength and stiffness. The Fizik Cyrano R3 Bar on its own looks great, but if you want to get the full benefits from the Fizik spine concept technology then pair them up with the full Cyrano cockpit.
Over-sized top diameter for a comfortable grip; dual front cable routing for a smooth shape after taping
Measured center-to-center at hood location; 2° flare at drops
Designed and developed using the fi'zi:k spine concept, which draws correlations between flexibility and component choice

I've been looking for the right bar for a long time... Haven't we all? I'm very picky when it comes to contact points. After trying MANY different bars and working on my position and flexibility I think this one fits the bill for my riding style, fast group rides and crit racing. I really wanted a bar I could be comfortable in the drops for long periods of time. A few bars I tried were comfortable on the hoods but not in the drops, such as the Bontrager VR-S. Those were decent, but too shallow with too short of a drop section. The Zipp SL80 Service Course (excellent bars, very comfy drops, nice long drop bottoms and perfectly flat hood transition, but just not quite deep enough. I sized down from a 42cm SL80 to a 40cm Cyrano and it's just about perfect. Lets me bring my elbows in for more comfort and more aero. They are just a touch deeper than the Zipps allowing me to breathe easier in the drops and stay comfortable on long efforts. A good flat hood transition to my Ultegra 6800 levers makes it a winner. These are decently light and very stiff, I can't see myself on a carbon bar due to the sketch factor. It helps that they are aesthetically pleasing as well. I highly recommend them for racer types like myself.
