The Fi’Zi:K Gobi XM saddle features a Tail Flex rear portion offering a smoother transition on and off the saddle, as well as flexibility and shock absorption. The Gobi XM’s shell flexes downward where the inner thigh contacts the saddle allowing more efficient pedaling and full range of movement. Wing Flex is not only more efficient, but it’s much more comfortable. To ensure that the pressure is distributed evenly, Fi’Zi:K incorporated Twin Flex, which is a Kevlar/ carbon shell bonded to a stiff outer shell and provides a hammock- like feeling, which alleviates the pressure in the perineal region.

Like the saddle but the fabric got torn after a crash. Saddle is smooth and doesn't cling to shorts while moving on saddle for climbs and descents.

I bought this saddle for my cross country ride and I would say that it still lives up to its expectations as with the previous year models....Still as comfortable, provides enough rest area for long rides and provides excellent support. But the newer models seems to take a longer time to break in....remains relatively stiff after 5 rides....The previous models would have been more easily seasoned after the same amount of rides....
But overall still a great saddle to own!

This comes as a ighly recommended saddle. I guess it's all down to anatomy and personal preference. I found it normal, average, didn't feel like a world beating saddle with sofa-like comfort. Nice design, but there are other saddles which provide better stress relief and support in the right areas. Overall, a good product, but I don't find it world beating. Scuffs around the edges easily compared to other saddles I've used. I would recommend a WTB Rocket over this anytime.
