The R3 Uomo was once said to be, quote on quote, fi'zi:k's entry level road shoe, however don't let this label fool you! The R3 Uomo is all but "entry level" and is on fi'zi:k's top shelf of road shoe offerings, sporting a minimalist, classic look that's packed to the gills with premium features.

At the forefront of the R3's high performance is the upper suited with fi'zi:k's laser perforated Microtex material for high comfort and durability. The Velcro strap employs Sail Cloth Resistant material which is made to hold its own against the harsh ocean environment, meaning they don't stretch, fade or fatigue. Comfort is further optimized by the fi'zi:k Cycling insole which is ergonomically padded with traditional EVA foam to reduce pressure at contact areas of power transfer.

The Carbon Fiber outsole plays a big factor in keeping weight minimal while also providing an insanely stiff platform for superior energy transfer and acceleration. Unlike the R3, the R3B features Fizik's Boa IP1 closure system which employs a durable lace and a retention dial. The Boa dial system offers more points of engagement, allow an overall more precise retention and fit.
