Fi'zi:k R5 Uomo Boa Road Shoe
The R5 Uomo carries over the same high performance professional cycling shoes as its R3 big brother, while strategically applying the best materials in all the right places for a fraction of the R3 price. The upper is outfitted with fi'zi:k's perforated Microtex material for high comfort, durability and breathability. Comfort is further optimized by the fi'zi:k Cycling insole which provides a supportive layer for long days of stomping on the pedals, while keeping weight to a minimum. The Nylon Carbon reinforced outsole also keeps weight trifling while providing a stiff and sturdy platform for manufacturing wattage. Need we mention the R5 Uomo is handmade in Italy?

Beautiful Shoe
I can't ask for much more for this price. These shoes look good and feel good. The boa system removes any play you might have within the shoe, and it also makes it quick to get the shoes on and off.

Comfortable from day 1!!
This shoe was comfortable from the start. Love the boa system that allows me to tighten up or loosen while on the bike.

Great shoe
The difference in power transfer from my old pair of shoes is amazing. True, it's "only" a carbon reinforced sole rather than full carbon, but you can barely tell a difference. Boa is great, way more pleasant than velcro and buckles. Maybe the best looking shoes out there. Complete bargain for the price

Awesome Cycling Shoe
I couldn't ask for much more for this price. These shoes look awesome, feel good, and they hold up well. The BOA system removes any play your foot may have in the shoe, and it makes it super quick to get them on and off.

Looks aren't everything
Obviously, these are very good looking shoes. I found that they run a bit small. I am a US size 12 and ended up with a 46. I tried a 46.5 but they were too big.
After two rides in them, I am pretty disappointed. I have typically worn lower end cycling shoes, but I have never experienced the pressure points like I have with these. It's like I can feel the three bolts for the clips on the right shoe digging into the bottom of my foot. It's strange that I don't get the same impression on the left. Also, pretty flexible, relative to other Giros and Specialized I have worn. Wish I could have rode in them before I purchased them.
