This tape works well and was easy to use. I found it stretched enough to lay flat and it looked great on the bike. I don't have any reason to use any other tape. It was comfortable on long rides. I also used the gel that Fizik makes. Good stuff. Get it and don't look back.

This tape is the only bar tape I'll use. In fact, I insist on it. Why? Because it's the only white bar tape that looks good after 1 day of use. White foam or cork bar tape gets dirty in 2 milliseconds, and that gets annoying and expensive, fast.

Fizik tape has a glossier texture that wipes down easily and, paired with a good, tight wrap job, stays looking good for months. You can even remove the tape and re-wrap and it'll still look decent. It doesn't have any printing or obnoxious logos or specks in it like other tapes. It stays grippy in the wet, shrugs off dirt and mud, and it's very clean, very simple, very PRO. I love this tape, and it's worth the dear price you pay for it, because it pays for itself with longevity.

However, it is not padded. At all. Even cloth tape will afford you more padding. Those used to foam or cork may initially be put off by its stiffness But I prefer a stiffer bar feel anyway, and Fizik makes bar gels specifically for this purpose to go under the tape. If you like super padded bars, look elsewhere.

The only thing I don't like about the tape is that the adhesive backing strip on the tape needs to be peeled off with surgical precision, otherwise the strip it will tear midway repeatedly or carry the adhesive along with it, leading to tears of confusion and fury. Patience is required, but it's worth it.
