The Focus Cayo 3.0 offers an incredible value packed carbon fiber frame and fork at an incredible price! The Focus Cayo 3.0 can get you there without breaking the bank. This isn’t some generic nameless carbon road bike, but a German engineered and constructed machine. The Focus Cayo 3.0 has been engineered with cutting edge features like stable stiffness per size (SSPS). Simply put, SSPS ensures that as the frame gets bigger, the tubing dimensions increase accordingly. Each carbon fiber frame on the Focus Cayo 3.0 bike is just the right size to keep it strong and stiff. Also incorporated into the carbon frame is a BB30 bottom bracket for stiffness while cranking out big watts and tapered head tube to keep the front end tracking true.
Value oriented does not mean that the rest of the bike is going to suffer. In fact, Focus Bikes has carefully equipped the Focus Cayo 3.0 to give the riding experience a top level feel within a friendly budget. At the heart of the bike is the Shimano 105 front and rear derailleurs along with Shimano 105 front and rear dual control shifters. Shimano 105 has become so good, that without looking, one would be hard pressed to tell much of a difference between Shimano 105 and Ultegra or even Dura-Ace! Smooth rolling DT Swiss R1850 wheels with Continental Ultra Sport tires. Rounding out the rest of the components is Focus’ own Concept EX line.
The Focus Cayo 3.0 offers a lightweight road bike with the unmistakable carbon road feel that is good enough for your bike race or for the weekend training ride.
