The heart of the Focus Cayo Evo 2.0 road bike is its German made carbon frame and fork and that has been redesigned for 2012. Now lighter and stiffer then before, the Cayo Evo is ready for your next race or gran fondo. Reinforced integrated cable routing adds stiffness to the frame and gives a more direct cable route for better shifting. The front end includes a tapered head tube for strength and stiffness while the redesigned rear end adds some nice vertical compliance. The carbon frame and fork will not suffer an inferiority complex with the cutting edge Shimano Ultegra Di2 gruppo.
Rounding out the rest of the bike is a carefully thought out component package from Shimano Ultegra, FSA, Prologo and Fulcrum Wheels. Shimano Ultegra supplies shifters, brakes, and cranks in addition to the Ultegra Di2 shifters. Smooth running Fulcrum 5 wheels and Continental Grand Prix tires keep this road bike firmly planted to the pavement.
