The Thunder 1.0 is a 5" Trail bike designed for riders who like to go up the hill as much as they like to go down. the Thunder 1.0 frame is made from lightweight and durable hydroformed aluminum. The frame also has a tapered headtube, which stiffens your steering platform and stabilizes the bike in corners and rocky sections. This is a definite plus! The rear suspension is equipped with a Fox Racing Shox RP23 130mm shock. The RP23 is designed with Fox patented BoostValve technology. BoostValve technology has a lot going in its compact package - simply put, BoostValve provides a feeling of endless travel and plushness like that of a downhill rig, but with race-ready pedaling efficiency. On the front end, the Thunder 1.0 is kitted out with a custom-decaled Fox Racing Shox TALAS 32 FIT RL with an adjustable 110-140mm of travel. This suspension system is stacked with great and proven technology from Fox!

The Thunder 1.0 is set up with a full Crank Brothers cockpit. Boasting Iodine 3 handlebars with an Iodine 2 stem, this setup has control written all over it. The bike comes with the added bonus of a dropper seatpost. The Crank brothers Joplin seatpost is designed to allow you to raise or lower your seat with a flick of a switch that resides on the handlebar. Never again will you have to get off of your bike to raise or lower your seat when approaching a climb or descent. Just press the switch, the saddle is out of your way, and you can descend with ease without stopping. Speaking of the saddle, Focus tops the cockpit off with a Fizik Tundra saddle.

Going down the hill, you need good braking power. Avid Elixir 5 brakes are strong, easy to service and dependable. Paired with solid DT Swiss 465D / Shimano XT wheels and grippy, high quality Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires, you'll be shredding the trail with with ease and speed.

The Shimano 3x10 Drivetrain is littered with high quality and innovation. Boasting a nearly full-on XTR drivetrain, the Thunder 1.0 will give you maximal performance with the highest quality parts from Shimano. The XTR 10 speed Rapidfire shifters tie the XT front derailleur and the XTR rear derailleur in together. These work in conjunction with Shimano Dyna-Sys Technology to shift smoothly and effectively. Tying it all togther is the beautiful XTR M980 Triple crank. As one of the most advanced MTB cranks ever developed, this lightweight and stiff crank has power transfer for days!
