I ordered a 36 and the waist fit very well and the pant length was perfect! The pants are stylish and well made. Though I have not been able to hit the trails yet with them, I have suited up to see if any adjustments would be needed. I recommend removing the small hips pads inside (if you wear DH compression shorts underneath your gear) Plenty of knee pad room without binding up. These pants will definitely bring on the warm factor.

Ok before anyone gets crazy Fox does make a "vented" pair of these pants too. I must say that it's not they are too warm, they just don't breathe as well as I would like. However I am spoiled as I usually ride with thermal tights under my downhill shorts. Either way, it was NOT uncomfortable to ride with these. They fit very snug (in the hips) but won't hinder range of motion. I ordered a size 30, I usually wear a size 28-30 pants. The 30's are more like 28-29s. I would go the smallest increment up from whatever your daily pant size is. The strategically placed hard rubber fox logos will add a little bit of protection, along with some padding on the front of the knees, and removable hip pads with a sticker with a disclaimer that says "these are not protective pads". Believe me, they will help. Use these for looking great, shuttled rides, bike parks, short (less than 4-8 mile) cross country rides. I highly recommend these, looking back even though its 60 degree weather and overcast I should have gotten the vented version.
