The Fox F100 is a lightweight crosscountry/ trail fork that provides the rider with legendary damping performance and precision steering. Fox’s renowned chassis is both strong and light. One hundred millimeters of reliable suspension gives the rider the correct amount of travel to eat up any bumps on the trail, yet provides high pedaling efficiency.

To ensure that the travel is buttery smooth, the uppers are Kashima coated. The Kashima coating is a hard anodizing process that fills in any micro pores in the material creating a smoother surface, in comparison to the hard anodization on prior versions. Its distinctive gold color is backed by its high performance attributes including extreme durability as well as an extremely smooth feel. The whole purpose and value of the Kashima coating is its friction reduction properties.

The Fox F100 features the FIT cartridge. FIT stands for Fox Isolated Technology. FIT technology employs a bladder system that keeps the oil and air from mixing to provide optimal performance in all riding extremes.

In order to stay focused on the task at hand, Fox incorporated Terralogic technology into this fork. Terralogic is suspension damping that automatically responds to trail input. The beauty of Terralogic is that the rider doesn’t have to flip a switch while riding to enjoy the benefits of a lockout style fork. The Terralogic Threshold Adjuster allows the rider  to adjust for a wide range of thresholds. The adjuster allows the rider to adjust for an XC race to all mountain riding. The BrassMass assembly and timer circuit were designed to react immediately to trail input. Immediately, the BrassMass returns to the closed position for maximum pedal efficiency while still providing control of the BrassMass in the event of a second- strike. The lockout feeling is always firm and there isn’t any fade. The FIT cartridge keeps dirt and contamination out of the damper which provides consistant BrassMass operation.
