These gloves offer the ultimate protection. Run a bit large.

With good armour and protection, these gloves will keep your hands safe. The palms are a bit thick and can casue blisters, but the kevlar mesh is super tough and keeps hands from getting sliced open. The terry-cloth on the backside is nice too. Fits true to size. Overall a winner.

My hands are my job, so protection is a pretty important feature from a mountain bike glove, for me. The Fox Bomber gloves do NOT disappoint. I've banged them off of rocks, trees and even a metal pole once (at Snowshoe, by the drop park... don't ask...) and never had anything happen to my hands. I'm on my second pair (lost the first), and they've both been really well made. They aren't as hot as you'd expect such a robust, full-fingered glove to be, either. I haven't noticed my hands sweating excessively in them, even in the heat of southern Arizona when I was there. Highly, highly recommended for anybody who doesn't want their hands mangled in a crash. Only drawback is I really wish they had a snot wipe built in, like so many other gloves do. Here's hoping the next version has one!

I had these gloves for a couple of months until they flew out of the back of a pickup truck on the highway and were lost forever.
The really nice thing about these gloves is the leather, it has a amazing feel to it and makes them one of the most comfortable gloves I have worn in a couple of years. The carbon knuckle is comfortable and adds a bit of protection when things get sketchy. I've worn the gloves in HOT weather and they were still comfortable.
They are a bit pricey for bike gloves but I recommend them as they are very durable and the leather offers a very nice feel and fit.

At 6'6" I've got pretty big hands. These gloves fit true to the sizing without being too baggy in the palm, long in the fingers, or having any tight spots.
Even with the large knuckle plate, articulation is comfortable. I can wear these for a 3 hour session of mixed freeride and technical XC trails without any hand problems except for pruney fingertips when I take them off. They're pretty hot, and they retain a lot of sweat; but the palm material hasn't led to any blisters even with damp hands.

Part of the rubber on top of the index finger came unstuck after a couple of months of use. Otherwise, it would be a 5 stars.

The gloves have been used for both biking and motocross. They hold up well in any situation providing great protection from shooting debris. The finger grips really catch the lever, hardly slipping. The only problem so far is splitting on the Velcro band. Overall they are great gloves and recommend spending a little extra money to get a high quality set of gloves.
