Comments about Fox Apparel Fox Launch Enduro Knee Pad:

Much less protection than the Fox Launch Pro knee pads, but the Fox Enduro version are light, very comfortable and good at protecting against scrapes from branches, tree bark. Have not crash-tested them yet, but I suspect they won't really protect your knees too much from a hard fall (direct impact to the knees). But they do serve the purposed for which they are designed. Very pedal friendly. If you are going to the bike park, use the Fox Launch Pros; if you are doing a ton of peddling (XC or trail with not too much hard techy stuff where you might crash and hit your knees on rocks), use the Fox Enduros. Only complaint is that the fox logo (which offers a little extra padding) came off on my first time wearing them.

Comments about Fox Apparel Fox Launch Enduro Knee Pad:

I ride a lot of single track and have found my self transitioning to more down hill and becoming a more aggressive rider. I was looking for something that I could put on at the begging of the day and not have to mess with until the end when I took them off. These knee pads were exactly what I was looking for. I don't think they will protect very well if you take big spill or wreck in a rock garden but then again I haven't crashed with them on yet.

Comments about Fox Apparel Fox Launch Enduro Knee Pad:

I race enduro but would not recommend this to tracks with a lot of rockgarden and where you will see yourself crashing. Product offers a bit of protection against skids and normal falls but not when your knee hits a very sharp and hard object.

Other than those, this is perfect for all day riding as it is very lightweight. Wear and forget kind of pad!

Comments about Fox Apparel Fox Launch Enduro Knee Pad:

Keep in mind these pads are enduro specific, and as such can't be worn for trail riding. They seem well constructed and the sizing seems right on. Look on the Fox apparel site for the size chart and follow their instructions and you can't go wrong. Aside from the Fox logo, which is some kind of raised rubber bonded to the front, the style is simple and clean looking. I like the look a lot actually. They don't clash with the colors on any of my riding clothes and the low profile doesn't look bulky or goofy either. There's no straps or Velcro to snag on clothing either so my shorts move easily over the front of the pad like they aren't even there. Note: these pads are meant to be light, breathable and flexible and as a result don't offer as much protection as pads with a hard cup sewn in. They only offer minimal protection from direct hits and almost no protection on the side of the knees. They consist of a neoprene-like sleeve with a soft pad stitched to the front directly over the front of the knee joint. They are held in place by the rubberized strip at the top and a stretchy elastic band around the back of the knee joint. There are no straps at all so these pads are not adjustable. This could be a problem for people who are in between sizes.

I bought these to protect my knees from low speed falls, cuts and abrasions. I'm a cautious, intermediate mountain biker so I'm not crashing into rock gardens at high speed or flying off jumps. I have only ridden in them a few times now and haven't had a crash yet so I can only speculate on their protection and durability but I can say they are comfortable to ride in up and down hills and breathe well even into the low 80s. The size large was spot on for my legs and it stays put, even when I am trying to take them off! What I like best about them is they offer some protection while being comfortable enough to wear my whole ride so I'm actually wearing them and not carrying them around in my pack.

So if you are looking for a light, breathable pad to wear on pedally rides and don't mind sacrificing some protection for comfort these pads seem like a good bet.
