These were a bit disappointing. The material is much thinner than I expected. First ride out I tore a hole in the bit toe area (1 side only). The ride was a mix of climbing, hike-a-bike, descending - total ride time ~4 hours. I expect my socks to last a bit longer than that.
Maybe it's my fault, I typically just wear Vans cotton socks. Frankly I'll probably be going back to them.
I'm sure these socks would work great for a XC rider, didn't work so hot for me.
About me - platform pedals, 5-10 impact low shoes, Yeti 575, prefer riding down but willing to earn it.

Wow..great pair of socks. comfortable and very well made. You will see and feel the quality as soon as you put them on. I haven't had them long, but from the way they are made, I expect they'll be in the ol' sock drawer for a very long time.
