GT Bikes Fury Alloy 2.0 Bike 2013

Since day one GT has been no stranger to downhill racing success due to their longstanding position as the leader of Downhill technology. Rachel and Gee Atherton proved this as they took a double World Cup victory at Fort William, which only points out one of the more recent successes. There were many more before, and will be many more to come. GT has made an addition to their family with the Fury Alloy series, which greatly broadens GT’s spectrum of Downhill bikes while integrating the latest Downhill technology to prove why GT is still ahead.

The GT Fury Alloy 2.0 is an easy-handling, bombproof, downhill wrecker! The core of this machine is constructed of Monocoque XM Metal™ aluminum with a 210mm Travel Independent Drivetrain™ suspension system with forged pivots, promising an invigorating combination of rollover ability and agility. You’ll ooze confidence when riding the RockShox BoXXer RC fork with 200mm of travel (adjustable rebound & compression) and a 20mm thru-axle for maximum strength and stiffness. In the rear the Fury employs a Fox Van RC shock with adjustable rebound and compression. Bumps? What bumps?

Since downhill riding can be unforgiving, GT knows there can be zero compromise on quality components. This is why GT equipped the Fury Alloy 2.0 with a race ready SRAM X7 rear derailleur and shifter with X-Glide shifting that will take you to the next level. The wheels on this bad boy are built using Alex FR30 rims, All Terra alloy sealed bearings hubs, and DT Swiss Factory stainless spokes to provide unparalleled durability that can withstand high-speed impact. Riding a bike under the mercy of gravity requires the best stopping power. Formula T1S hydraulic disc brakes are utilized for comfort, control and reliability. Whether you're dusting the competition in a weekend race, or it's a long day of battling rock gardens, roots, berms or air, the Fury Alloy 2.0 is suited for pure enjoyment!

Comments about GT Bicycles GT Bikes Fury Alloy 2.0 Bike 2013:

I race my bike sometimes and it's a great race bike. Especially out at Southridge where you have a long pedaling section. It pedals awesome considering it's a downhill bike. It's also great for screwing around on the trails. It's super stable when you point it down the mountain. If you can learn to deal with the shape of the frame you can't beat it for racing or just DH in general.
