The GT Force 2.0 is the definition of an all mountain bike.  Constructed of Monocoque/ hydroformed Am Metal™, in one word, it’s strong. The Force 2.0 has 150mm of travel, and uses the Independent Drivetrain™ design. I-Drive is unique and will prove beneficial in many situations. Regardless of how the rear wheel moves, it won’t pull on the chain, crank, or pedals. This results in improved pedaling efficiency. With I- Drive you’ll notice your momentum is better preserved, which will lead to a faster, smoother ride. The GT Force 2.0 also has a tapered head tube. The 1 1/8’ to 1.5” tapered head tube creates a stiffer front end and the larger area disperses the stress of a long travel fork better than the traditional 1 1/8” headtube.

Though the frame and I-Drive suspension platform are magical, I dare say that is not all. GT blows other bikes in its category out of the water with the Force 2.0 component package. To start, the Rock Shox Sektor RL Solo Air keeps the front end in line. The Rock Shox Sektor RL Solo Air has strong 32mm upper tubes and a 15mm through axle. The fork is extremely resistant against fork flex. The Sektor RL also features external rebound adjustment. The Fox Shox Float RL rear shock compliments the Sektor RL perfectly. The Float RL has 150mm of travel, and has adjustable rebound as well. With the flip of a switch, you can lock out your rear shock for a harsh climb. Flip the switch back to hit the single track course. The Shimano drivetrain components harmoniously work together, to provide smooth shifting. Formula RX brakes with 180mm rotors in the front and rear provide amble braking power. Another added goody that cannot be overlooked is the X-Fusion HiLo adjustable seatpost. The HiLo features 100mm of adjustability. You won’t find yourself pulling over to the side of the trail any longer to adjust your seatpost.
