Since day one GT has been no stranger to the rugged, untamed world of mountain biking. As an industry leader in technology, GT has made a name for itself by consistently setting the standards by which the competition obeys. Take a gander at the 2015 Sensor collection, and you’ll be quick to notice this to be true.

What a deal!!
I was a little skeptical about this frame and it was a little challenging to assemble... That being said, I've only taken it for cross country ride and WOW what a plush rear suspension system..
Built with 100% XT from top to bottom the bike feels fairly light.

Light frame, light maintenance and light price!
This bike is light. I don't even have carbon wheels on it. First time on the trail, the bike behaves like my previous GT with I drive system. The big difference is how easy it is to clean after a muddy ride. I bet it is much easy to maintain too which is a plus for me since I mostly do all the repair and maintenance on my bikes. The price was unbeatable too. Most full carbon frames cost twice as much as frame alone.

Great trail rig!
Love this frame! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's a Team frame! A bit of a tricky build regarding the cable routing, but still not bad. Built it full XT with Race Face Aefect wheel set, bar, and stem, and Continental Trail? King tires. I hammer pretty hard on it and it's never let me down. It's stiff and light, climbs like a beast and descends just as well. And no pedal bob on the climbs. The rear suspension linkage looks a bit odd, but it works well and I've never felt the bottom bracket moving with it. I also can't really tell the difference between the 3 settings (climb, trail, descend) on the rear shock, but it didn't matter anyway because of the design of the suspension.

Overall, I'd say GT absolutely nailed it! I'd recommend this frame to anyone who wants a stiff, responsive trail rig. Just do yourself a favor and don't skimp on the rest of the components.

Threaded or PressFit Bottom Bracket?
ColinM on Aug 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's standard english threaded, 73mm.
Is the head angle on this bike accurate? The one listed seems like its for the 130mm, but modern geometry suggests that it would be the headangle for a 110mm bike. I'm also confused as the frame, same year and model is listed at 67.5 headangle with a 130mm fork instead of the extreme 68.5 with a 150mm fork.

GT Sensor Carbon GX Jenson Bike 2015
BEST ANSWER: I can't seem to find my son's protractor right now, but I did take this bike to Moab and Fruita and it handled The Whole Enchilada like a absolute champ. Riding 150 up front, 130 rear.
What's that sanction 32, 34 or 36?
A shopper on May 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Revelation has a 32 mm stanchion tube.
Im confused, is this a Sensor frame, yet the chart used is a Force geometry? I thought they are two different bikes design
Dino22 on Jan 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The geometry is for the Sensor. I believe where the confusion is that you are seeing is"Force Optimized Construction", when describing the frame. The is a term GT uses describing the carbon fiber construction of there frames. Hope this helps, I looked at GT bikes archive for the 2015 Sensor and it also describes the frame as Force Optimized Construction.
My height 1.80 cm what size should be the frame ?
