I use these for trail riding/all mountain, bike parks and I've even used them for road. They're inexpensive and perform well. They don't have any padding, which I like, and they grip really well.

They're definitely hotter than the Giro Xen's but way cheaper. You can't go wrong with these for the price Jenson has them for right now. My only complaint is after only 2 times of use, a small rip developed in the band that goes around your wrist. I'm thinking that it came from when pulling the glove on. The rest of the glove is pretty solid in construction. I also really like the way they look.

I like these gloves pretty well, the black ones have a nice tough back of the hand surface that is lightweight and breathable, yet sturdy enough to protect your hand from branches or the odd bush.

At first I liked that there wasn't a velcro cuff to constantly come loose (like used to happen on my old Fox gloves) which was really annoying. But after wearing these more I find they do slip down my hand a slight bit, maybe due to them getting a bit more stretched out in our recent rainy weather. I find myself wanting to pull them back on, even though the cuff loseness doesn't really effect grip.

But hey, they outlasted my TLD race gloves by MONTHS!

Comments about Giro DND Gloves 2013:

I use them on colder days. I have slightly long fingers but do not have big hands yet an XL is tight on me. I'd say they tend to run small.

Gloves look good, are well built, and reasonably comfy. That said, I'm knocking two stars off for the fit. They run small so I don't wear these for rides lasting longer than 30-45 minutes. For comparison's sake, I wear an XL in all Fox and TLD gloves. These Giro XL gloves fit like a Large.
