The 2013 Giro Saros™ is a race-level helmet for the rider looking for a competitive edge, with great value. Sitting only below Giro’s high-end Aeon™, the Saros utilizes much of the same technology as the Aeon at a fraction of the cost. The Saros adopts many of the same features available on the higher-end helmets including Giro’s premier Roc Loc 5® fit dial located on the rear, allowing a precise and comfortable fit to be dialed in. The straps are also fully adjustable to position the straps perfectly on the face. 23 Wind Tunnel vents deliver a surge of cool air to keep you comfortable and maintain a stable core temperature. Even though the helmet has excellent ventilation, it does not sacrifice protection. The body is constructed of an in-mold - EPS liner with a polycarbonate outer shell which maintains a hard-wearing exterior along with stylish graphics for good looks. ROLL CAGE ™ technology fuses a resilient net of DuPont ® Nylon® integrated into the helmet’s EPS foam liner. It provides even more strength and integrity than standard foam without adding unnecessary extra grams or visual bulk to the exterior.
