Dropper is as advertised. It simply works and feels solid. I only used it in handful of ride, so take it for what it's worth. I ride mostly XC-type riding and don't abuse my bike like some.
On a hind sight, I would order the version that allows for 1-inch incremental drop. Dropping 3 inches is okay for extended downhill portions or really technical stuff, but my riding would benefit with just 1 or 2 inch drop most of the time.

I have this post on my Trans am and it can't be beat by any of the other suspention post companyies out there. I have another brand on my Jamis and it has nothing but problems that are a pain to deal with, the gravity dropper is simple and easy to work on if it needs it.

Rock solid performance, I have been running this post for a few years and all I have done to it is apply grease a couple of times, unlike all of my buddies running Joplins who have to have them serviced and even rebuilt after a few months of use. It is a 27.2 mm which makes it good for swaping between bikes, all you need are the right shims.

This is the only dropper seatpost worth considering (well the other Gravity Droppers are good too). All others have extreme reliability issues and aren't worth the time. I've had this post for 2 years of year round use, generally riding 4-5 times a week during the spring, summer, fall, and once a week in winter. I've covered it in mud and it's been fine. Nearly no maintenance required, and it's easy. It only has 3 positions, but that's all you need. Plus, unlike some posts, it won't come up on it's own once it's down.

Works great, this is my 2nd dropper post. This one I trust a little more since I am a clydesdale. Just going to take some time to get used to the tapping the seat for the lock/unlock feature.

Be sure to measure well before purchase, I thought I did - but post is 35mm too high for me at full height, and being a 'classic' only has two positions - so I am sort of screwed....................
