ESI Chunky 32mm Grips

ESI Chunky 32mm Grips

Ideal for riders looking for the maximum in shock absorption. Unlike other grips, these are made of silicone, so theyre grippy, whether wet or dry, they stick to the bar (no lock-ons or bread ties needed) and withstand extreme temperatures and exposure to the elements.

  • Just use a little Windex or rubbing alchohol to install
  • UV Resistant
  • Conforms to your hands for maximum grip

No other grips anymore
I was always riding ODI rouge grips as i have big hands. A guy recommended these to me and i was really skeptical but need grips anyway. Now i am in love.

These are perfect in dimensions for anyone who needs XL gloves or bigger. There is also a extra chunky version which i like even better (34mm)

Compared to a lock on it is amazing how pretty much all vibration disappears which is great because your hands don't become so tired.

they are a pain in the a... to get on and the only way to get them off again if you don't have an air compressor around is to cut them off.
So if you are planing on trying different handlebars or have brakes shifter which require you to remove the grips to slide them of the bars these are a waist of money.

I honestly fell in love with those so deeply, i always carry a pair of spare grips in my toolbox these days. I would not ride any other grips any more.

Great grips, but the extra chunkies are the best grips ever
I swapped my ODI rogues for these and have to say it's amazing how much better these feel. I've ridden with them in all sorts of conditions and they work flawlessly. never slipped once, dry or muddy. BUT, based off a friends recommendation I recently swapped them out for a extra chunkies,, forget about it! The extra chunkies are without question the most comfortable and supporting grips I have ever owned. for the first time in my life I can say that I feel no fatigue,in any way, on my hands or wrists during or after a ride. Do yourself a favor and try the extra chunkies, you wont regret it.

Comfy grips, super light
Great grips! Super light and very comfortable. Can be hard to install so try to find YouTube video with installation (very helpful). Took me 10+ minutes per grip initial installation and less than 30 seconds per grip after viewing video. Ends can get damaged pretty easily so use bar end caps but still probably more durable than competing foam grips at similar weights.

PROS: Very comfortable, Lightweight

CONS: Difficult To Install, Not Very Durable

BEST USES: Racing, Mountain Biking, BMX

Awesome cheap grips
these grips are awesome and cheaper than lock on grips. though they are not very durable if you take a spill and scrape them they can tear. installing them is almost impossible if you don't use rubbing alcohol to slip them on much easier.

PROS: Lightweight, Attractive Design

BEST USES: Mountain Biking, Racing

Simple, straightforward bump tamer.
I've used the ESI Chunkys for typical trail riding on a few sets of handlebars. They tame vibration better than a standard lock-on grip and have a nice, tacky feel to them. Installation can be kind of tricky, but I've found that rubbing alcohol works a great deal better during installation than window cleaner. One other downside would be durability. Since they are a pretty simple, silicone design they get a bit beat up after a few run-ins with trees and bushes. Using bar end plugs might help with this, but really, they're so cheap it's really not a big deal to replace them. Overall, excellent value.

PROS: Lightweight, Minimal, Many Colors, Comfortable

CONS: Long Term Durability, Installation Can Be Trick, Installation

Most comfortable grip I've used
These are by far the most comfortable grips I've used. I've got them on all my bikes now. So far, durability hasn't been an issue for me. Then again, I've not hit any trees with them yet! Make sure you follow the directions for installation. I dunked these things in glass cleaner to install.

PROS: Comfortable, Attractive Design, Lightweight, Squishy

CONS: Difficult To Install

Fantastic Grips!
These grips took a lot of the vibration out of my bars from small rocks expecially in AZ. Lots of rock gardens! My hands and arms feel less fatigued because of the vibration dampening. I ended up using large bar ends to help protect the ends from tearing in the event of a crash. Have not had any issues with the end tearing (yet) as some have stated. Their not as soft as I was expecting but their way better than lock-on rubber grips. I thought it might be hard to install but it turned out to be really easy according to the instructions. I was also able to remove and replace them to change levers with no issues either. The don't slip.

PROS: Grippy, Vibration dampening, Less Fatique

CONS: Possibly Tear Easily

First time and like them a lot
Lightweight, multiple colors, no problems with hands slipping off, and hard as hell to install using company's instructions.

To install wipe Dawn onto handlebars and a little inside grips. Wet grips then using a rag push/pull onto bar don't stop till they are on.
