After using for more than 5 times, finally it is time to review this product. It does not work for someone like me who sweat so much during mountain biking for hours. If I am doing flat road biking and casual riding, it is ok. For long mountain biking which require lots of climbing, I sweat so much and it does not block any sweat from dripping to my eyes. Good ventilation on the top since it is open but does not prevent sweat from dripping down to my eyes.

After getting back into riding years ago, I purchased the Halo Band. Now is it now a part of my staple ride gear. As someone that sweats alot there are few things as bad as stinging eyes as you ride. I purchased this in the spring 2012 to keep the sweat out of my eyes, and I sweat a ton when riding. It works as advertised. Fits nicely under my helmet. Comfortable enough that I forget I am wearing it until I take my helmet off. Highly recommended!

I received this for Christmas last year. I used it a few times in early spring, before heading down to Moab for three days of riding bliss in May. I wore it the first ride (Slickrock) and didn't seem to have any issues with sweat dripping down my face and into my eyes. Obviously, there was a small bit of sweat dripping down my face, but that seemed to be the sweat forming below the Halo headband.
The first day the weather was pretty mild, with highs in the upper 60's. The second day was much the same, so I started our first ride on day two without the Halo, to see if it was actually doing anything. Boy, what a difference! Despite the cool weather, within 15-20 minutes, sweat was pouring down my face and into my eyes without the Halo! I put the Halo on and immediately noticed the difference! I almost never ride without the Halo now! It is definitely a great buy!
I have worn it probably around 40-50 times and it doesn't show any wear at all.
Two words for everyone considering this: BUY IT!
