I was always riding ODI rouge grips as i have big hands. A guy recommended these to me and i was really skeptical but need grips anyway. Now i am in love.

These are perfect in dimensions for anyone who needs XL gloves or bigger. There is also a extra chunky version which i like even better (34mm)

Compared to a lock on it is amazing how pretty much all vibration disappears which is great because your hands don't become so tired.

they are a pain in the a... to get on and the only way to get them off again if you don't have an air compressor around is to cut them off.
So if you are planing on trying different handlebars or have brakes shifter which require you to remove the grips to slide them of the bars these are a waist of money.

I honestly fell in love with those so deeply, i always carry a pair of spare grips in my toolbox these days. I would not ride any other grips any more.

These may be good for bmx or park riding. I installed on my AM bike. First, they were a little difficult to install, even with windex. More to the point, they got dirty very quickly (I purchased the red grips) and it doesn't take much before they started tearing up. Any time you lay your bike down or hit something on your bars, you risk damaging the grips. I also didn't find the grip to be that great. Grips were also thinner than I thought when installed.

Chunky Grips - Great Cushioning for Downhill

By Still Rolling

Comments about ESI Chunky 32mm Grips:

For potholed mountain bike trails or roots and rock filled downhills the ESI Chunky grips help take the impact better than bolt on grips for me. The non-chunky ESIs aren't enough for the long downhills here in Park City for me. As a 60-year old lifer on these trails any little advantage to take the shock out of the trails that haven't seen the Mountain Trails Crew for a season or two helps.

Big soft from high freqs

Comments about ESI Chunky 32mm Grips:

Little more of regular grips, little more seal coat vibration absorption. Don't expect surviving hard hits, its a grip which is expendable gear. Do expect it too take out the seal coat type vibrations out of your handlebars. Good stuff...........oh, don't forget, hand sanitize bottle, gel, with moisturizer will make it a low effort 1 min job.......use excess.

Comments about ESI Chunky 32mm Grips:

I love the feel of these chunky monkeys! Not too thick but just thick enough that you can squeeze tight when you have to and not touch through to the bars. Great vibration reduction on long XC rides. Durability could be better as the ends will get beat up from hitting trees or the ground.
It's my second pair and I'll keep buying them, I love them.
