One of the sets shipped was not Hayes. Could not use. Will not order pads from Jensen again.

I have been using these pads as replacements for my hayes disc brake since I have had disc brakes so I don't really have any frame of reference but they have never let me down and I have had no reasons to use anyone elses pads.

Bottom line, these pads are good. They don't fade in bad conditions. But, they tend to overheat when you downhill with them for 5 hours strait and Mammoth :-)

I've also ridden on avid, and hope pads; and hope are not that great! They don't fade even after a piece of mud flew in between the rotor and caliper, while it was raining the next 1000 feet down the trail.It was almost as if it got more power!
