Bought a set of these on my AM rig thinking I'd replace them with something stronger later. Anyway, they stop great, have stayed in adjustment this whole time and don't seem overly heavy.

I've had some experience with Hayes and recently with the stroker brake set. Overall I would say this is a good entry level unit, especially those that dont want to spend too much on a brake system. I did find that the stopping power is not as strong as with some of the other brakesets on the market but at being so decently priced you can't really complain.
This lever is also very durable as its been crashed on several occasions and has withstood all the abuse.
In terms of maintenance there's really not too much required and you should be able to run it all season without any issues. Bleeding hayes brakes is not as easy as with Shimano so thats one downfall to this unit.
Overall its a good brake at a reasonable price and great for entry level riders or riders that dont ride too much aggressive DH.
