Urge Archi-Enduro Veggie Helmet
By picking the brains of some of the world’s best Enduro riders, Urge created the Archi-Enduro Veggie helmet to meet the demands of some of the best Enduro riders on the planet. The Archi-Enduro offers the same full-face protection as Urge’s Downhill helmet, but with more comfort, reduced weight, more breathability, and a shorter back so that a backpack can be comfortably worn. Now, we’re sure you’re probably wondering what the heck the word “Veggie” is referring to exactly. Urge’s Veggie model helmets replace a part of the commonly-used glass fiber with a 100% natural and vegetal fibre (the linen fibre). This particular fiber is extracted from the beautiful linen plant and then weaved into a fabric that is very similar to glass and carbon fabrics. However, unlike glass and carbon, linen is natural, requires low energy to be produced, its waste is harmless to the environment, and it’s non-allergic. With the Archi-Enduro Veggie, you are not only protecting your dome, but you are protecting the Earth as well.
