Hope Pro hubs have gained a reputation for being exceptionally versatile, as they can be adapted to just about any axle size and cassette arrangement. Holding true to tradition and building upon the charms of the Pro 2 series hubs, Hope introduces their Pro 4 Fatsno series hubs which come to us refined with larger flange diameters which improve wheel stiffness on larger sized wheel builds. Knowing that none of this would mean anything if the hubs innards didn't hold up to the rigors of riding, Hope didn't hesitate to use a bigger inboard freehub body bearing to improve durability. All of these new features come with little-to-no change in weight over the Pro 2 version of the Fatsno hubs.
The Fatsno model of the Pro 4 packs all the stoke-worthy aforementioned technology into a hub that's exclusively designed for fat bikes that can be modified between QR and 15mm axle sizes.

Feels plenty smooth compared to the 135 mm Borealis hub I'm replacing. The anodized red is a spot on color match with the rear Borealis hub I'm still running. Feels slightly heavier and from the machining, I'd also say it's heavier, but what does a few grams on the hub of a several pound wheel matter. The hub flange is the same diameter as the Borealis, so I didn't have to get new spokes. Overall, a great hub, especially considering it's $50 cheaper than the Borealis/Turnagain front hub I was considering.
