Comments about Shimano Deore M525A Hub:

Perfect hub for commuting/touring. Just as durable if not more durable than Shimano's higher end hubs. I love that the hub doesn't use sealed bearings so it is completely rebuildable and adjustable. When you ride hundreds of miles a week, or more, this is critical.

Comments about Shimano Deore M525A Hub:

My review is of the front hub, I have no experience with the free hub. The large diameter flanges on this hub make for shorter spokes & give a nice stiff wheel that rolls well.

I love my deore hub. Its a great Hub. It rolls. It doesnt break. Why would you buy a more expensive hub? The most reliable hub ever, and I have ridden ALOT of hubs.
