Road tubeless does not work well.
I installed this with the stans latex and valves. The bead on this tire is _extremely_ tight, but otherwise the installation went okay.
It may help prevent some flats, so in a racing situation, where you have a spare wheel handy, it may save you the few seconds to swap, but it's not foolproof, and if it fails you're stuck.

I got a flat on a piece of glass. not a huge slice, but a small, typical glass puncture. I heard a hiss, and it slowly sealed up. I stopped and looked at it, but it was very low. (maybe 30psi) I figured I'd ride carefully to a gas station to refill it, but each rotation of the tire I heard a small puff of air leave, and I was too flat to ride in a half block. I got on a bus to get to work.

I doubt I could get the tire off with my usual portable tire levers, and it's really messy with all that sealant.

According to my scale it's about 100g heavier than the standard fusion 3 (way heavier than tubes after you add sealant), almost impossible to get on/off the rim, and is likely to leave you stranded in exchange for a slightly reduced chance of a standard tire change.

Tubeless is awesome, but save it for your mountain bike. Buy the ordinary fusion 3, they're great tires.

PROS: Durable, High quality

CONS: Difficult To Install, Inconvenient, Heavy

Fusion 3 review
One of the best tubeless tires on the market. Yes they do run heavy compared to a standard road tire but all tubeless tires and set ups do. Easy to install once you learn how to set up tubeless systems. It is a learning process compared to switching out a normal tube but is well worth it to not have punctures as often.

PROS: Used With Tube Or Tubless, LONG LASTING, Durable

BEST USES: Road Biking, commuting

nice tire
I bought a second hand set of wheels that the prior owner had converted to tubeless with these tires. I rode them for 6 months with no flats. I was sold on tubeless. I had a set of Kysrium SLs I wanted to convert, so I bought these tires. I hope to use these as training wheels. Nothing worse than getting a flat when you are training in cold weather, so this was the logical choice.

PROS: Tubeless

CONS: Heavy, Difficult To Install

BEST USES: Training, Racing

Not a lot of traction
This is the first tubeless tires I've tried and I have mixed feelings about it. On one part I love the fact that I can ride over anything and will not flat. The mounting wasn't as hard as I expected, almost as easy as a regular clincher. But this is the first tire that has let me down (as in falling down) in the traction department. Maybe it needs to have some sort of file tread or something to improve it's grip in both wet and dry conditions.

PROS: Good Enough Weight, Zero Flats

CONS: Poor traction
