Classic roads, degraded, paths or tracks, the Override is the ideal tire for versatile and improvised outings. The 700x35 version adopts an adapted semislick profile favoring performance and comfort. High-quality Casing for a better deflection capacity on roads and paths
I haven't found many reviews of this tire and I don't know what convinced me to try it. I guess I was just trying everything ... and it seems I have. I have several hundred miles on these now on a mix of gravel types and a lot of chip and seal. They roll very fast when things are firm. They handle as well as any tires I've used on gravel and, this past week, I got to roll through some peanut butter mud. I came out the other side way ahead of my buddies and I don't really have bike handling skills.
I'm very impressed with these tires and recommend them highly. FYI, I've also ridden WTB Horizon and Byway, various Clement, various Schwalbe, etc.
I really like the versatility of this tire. I mounted them tubeless on a “gravel” bike and can ride them pumped up on the road for low rolling resistance or soft in the dirt and gravel. Riding them at lower pressures makes for a more supple ride. They can get a little squirrely in the loose stuff but nothing to cry over. You can feel the tread on the edge grip when cornering on tarmac which does spill off some speed. I don’t mind this since I’m new to riding roads and still learning how to handle a drop bar bike.
