The ISM Adamo Breakaway shares the same bio- mechanic design and shape of the Adamo Podium. However, the difference is that the Breakaway features more foam padding and gel to soften the ride. Climb on an Adamo Breakaway and you’ll likely ride off to the front of the pack.

Comments about ISM Adamo Breakaway Saddle:

I mountain bike several times a week and the pressure of a regular seat can be painful. I spent the extra $40 for the ISM because the description said it had more padding and gel than the Podium. If that is true, I am glad I did not buy the Podium; this thing is not well padded at all.
It also feels wide in the front between my thighs when peddling, I am trying to get used to that. The good news is, the seat does eliminate the pressure where it counts.

Comments about ISM Adamo Breakaway Saddle:

I first tried a ISM Adamo saddle during a retul fit on my tri bike and while it felt a little different at first I quickly grew to love it so much I didn't want to ride my road or mountain bike. Now they all have ISM saddles! They support your sit bones and leave your soft tissue alone. I can't speak for the ladies but this is a must have for the guys!

Comments about ISM Adamo Breakaway Saddle:

Best saddle so far for me and I have tried a lot of them. For me, cut out and newer channel style saddles have proven a step better than traditional styles. This saddle is a very large step better yet. Where this saddle really shines is when you ride in an agressive position and when you up your mileage/saddle time. I can now ride in the drops or in the aero bars in comfort. No numbness in those tender bits. Saddles are very individual but for me this saddle has saved me and allowed me to train for ultra endurance events.

Comments about ISM Adamo Breakaway Saddle:

Great saddle. Sitting flat directly own your sit bones (like you would on any chair) makes a huge difference for me. Wish I would have bought one years ago. No perennial pressure at all. Will now buy one for my mtn bike. Takes a little time to adjust and get used to. Highly recommend
