ISM Century Saddle

If you ride long miles, you know the pain your bottom feels the next day. As the name suggests, the Adamo Century saddle is for long mileage riding. The very soft saddle delivers the comfort you have been searching for while also having slightly narrower arms to prevent chaffing. The Century’s sleek design uses plush foam padding and gel, which your bum will thank you for the next day.

Excellent long distance saddle
I ride bike literally for decades, and every time I rode for more than 20 miles, I got the "parts" numb, and had to recovery. No matter what type/material the saddle was. This is what I thought as normal.
One day the unnusual design of the ISMs caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try.
At first it feels awkward, but after a few miles I was regretting that I have not bought it years before. It supported me over thousand of miles, being the longest run a century over dirty roads with a non-suspension bike.
After you make some tuning, following the directions from ISM, it even gets better. For me, it pays for the weight (343 g) and the price.

Buy this, you won't regret it!
I'm really not sure what ISM means when they say that the "Saddle" will take a little time to get used to. If they meant that I would have to get used to feeling absolutely no pain the very second I got on the "Saddle" for the first time, then yes, It does take some time to wrap your head around the idea that pain in your A.. (and you know where else) is a thing of the past. I can't imagine ever wanting to use another "Saddle."

Thanks to ISM for the single best investment I have made for my bike. I can finally use it the way it was intended!

Great Saddle!!!
Ive had this saddle on my TT bike for about 5 years now, so I feel I can leave an accurate review. It is the single best saddle I have ever ridden. I tried dozens of other saddles before trying the Century and none can compare to it's level of comfort on longer rides (3+ hours). If you are frustrated with constant discomfort and trying saddles that don't work...try an ISM. You will not be disappointed.

Great saddle
This is my everyday training seat. Very comfortable not just because of the padding, but because of its U shape design. Takes much longer for my butt to get sore when sitting, and the openness of the U shape keeps the nether regions perfect. Love this saddle.

Nice comfort for longer rides
This saddle is more comfortable than the race version. It takes a few rides to get used to riding on the rails for any of the ISM saddles, but this one is the best option of a few saddles I have tried. It is heavier than most. It did solve the numbness in the left foot and leg.

numbness gone
I was told that the seat bone region would be painful at first but I didn't experience that at all. I noticed the sensation that more weight was applied to that area but the sensation was gone the next day. Maybe my riding position lends itself to a less painful transition to an Adamo seat but bottom line, it was no different from riding an axe for the first time. My next purchase will be the ISM Adamo Peak for my GF Paragon.

CONS: Could Be Leather, Better If Leather

Very comfortable (for some people)
This is a great seat for almost everything. Maybe a little heavy for race day(not overly so), but its great for long rides. It was innitially uncomfortable, as it put all my weight on my sit bones. But, after a couple rides I was sold! It removes all pressure from the groin area and can be comfortably used in street clothes. It may not be comfortable if you're overweight and have rubbing thighs, as the wider nose may rub on your legs. About 3 weeks after installing the seat, the staples underneath, holding the cover on, started to pull out. I just glued the cover back. Other than three staples coming out, the seat is great.

PROS: Easy To Install, Attractive Design, Ergonomic, Comfortable

CONS: Heavy, Durability
