I used this through 1 winter season cycling nearly everyday in Alberta, Canada. The fit and temperature regulation was excellent and it still show little signs of wear.
Have to buy another because my wife wants mine.

Okay, I should preface this by stating I am a merino wool junkie. The stuff is amazing. If you haven't tried it, this is an inexpensive foray into the world of wool.
It's breathable. It's lightweight. It retains it's insulating properties when wet. This cap is awesome to pack in your jersey pocket if you're unsure of how cold you'll be. I wear it on the bike under a helmet, but I also pack it in a pocket when going for a hike or walking my dogs. It packs a surprising amount of warmth given how lightweight it is.
I do wish it were a bit longer as I really have to pull it down to cover my ears (and my head isn't a big one).
