ASYMMETRIC PROFILE CARBON FIBER WHEELSET

Nothing makes a bike feel better than new set of wheels. They will breathe new life into any old bike. The Ibis 942 is a carbon fiber wheelset that is both lightweight and durable. With the 942, they kept the same 41mm outer width and the 35mm inner width that their 941 rim had, but increased the impact strength and reduced the weight while maintaining the lateral stiffness. The updates to their 942 rim resulted in a 30% increase in impact strength and a 7.5% decrease in weight compared to their previous rims. The 942 are designed to run lower pressures. They are capable of using 2.25" tires up to 2.8" plus sized tires. Not only did Ibis update their rims, they also updated their hubs with a 36 tooth, 4 pawl ratchet with 10° engagement. Equipped with Enduro bearings, you'll be rolling on the trails all day.
