Kreitler Alloy Roller Sets

The Kreitler Alloy Rollers is an ideal method of resistance training in compact, portable package. For almost 40 years, Kreitler has been producing some of the smoothest and quietest rollers on the market. Some would say Kreitler Rollers are the “Rolls Royce” of rollers; beautifully machined while offering the best combination of resistance, cost, and portability. Kreitler rollers will simultaneously allow you to increase your cadence, increase power, and improve your form all while helping you develop better balance and technique. Regardless of your current skill level, there is a Kreitler roller system that will help you become a better cyclist.

Kreitler rollers are offered in several different drum diameters; as the drum diameter decreases, the resistance of the roller system will increase due to the bearing and tire friction. At any given speed, a smaller drum will need to rotate at a faster RPM than larger drums, causing more friction in the bearings which ultimate producing higher resistance.

The Alloy series of Kreitler rollers use the same standard Kreitler frame as the Challenger series, the only difference being the use of alloy end caps in place of polycarbonate ones. Although heavier than polycarbonate, alloy end caps are longer lasting and create more momentum in the rollers. The Kreitler Alloy 4.5 is the best option for those new to training with roller systems as it offers the least amount of resistance while the Kreitler Alloy 3.0 Rollers provide 40% more resistance compared to the Alloy 4.5, making it a good option for those seeking a more intense training session.

Kreitler Alloy Roller System Features

  • Standard Kreitler Frame (15" wide drums with extension kits available for bike with a wide wheelbase)
  • Compatible with Kreitler Headwind Fan and Flywheel accessories*
  • Manufacture Part Numbers: KT-13000 (3.0), KT-10003 (4.5)

Please Note: Use of the Kreitler Headwind Fan or Flywheel accessories on 3.0 and 2.25 drum sizes will cause premature wear on the poly end caps, which is NOT covered under the lifetime warranty. If you are planning on using either of these accessories with your Kreitler roller system, alloy end caps are recommended.
