The Spider 29 Comp is the fourth in Intense’s lineup of carbon fiber mountain bike frames; the Spider 29 Comp was designed for the cross country or light trail riding. The Spider 29 includes all of the features Intense is known for including adjustable 4.5-5” travel, G1 dropout system, and phenomenal aesthetics. However, the Spider 29 has a few tricks up it’s sleeve including internal cable routing, a tapered head tube, and special internal cable routing for the Rock Shox Reverb Stealth dropper post.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect 29er frame to build up, this may be it. With modern trail geometry and VPP suspension, the Spider 29 Comp is your do everything bike. VPP suspension balances forces to eliminate unwanted compression. VPP bikes use a patented link configuration and axle path to apply some of the pulling force from the chain to counteract the motion caused by pedaling.VPP suspension is plush and features minimal “pedal- bob.” The Intense Spider 29 Comp comes installed with a 2013 Fox Factory Kashima Coated Float with CTD technology. CTD (Climb, Trail, and Descend) allows you to micro- adjust your rear shock while on the trail. The Kashima coat provides buttery smooth suspension. As you speed through the hills, you’ll enjoy the smooth reliable suspension.
