The Tracer 29 is Intenses answer to the fairly new big-wheel market. While others simply put bigger wheels to a pretty much 26" frame design, Intense used the 26" Tracer VP (editors choice, Singletrack magazine) as a foundation and built the Tracer 29 around it. What they created is an agile 29" trail bike that has both agility and that "float-over-anything" assurance only a bigger wheel size can give you.
G2 technology:
The Tracer 29 features the absolutely ingenious G2 dropout. With it, the rider can adjust the bikes chainstay length, head angle, seat angle, and BB height to suit the riders taste. G2 technology also incorporates a current trend in Intense: a two-position shock mount on the upper link. The rider can change the bikes effective rear travel by just switching to either the top or bottom mount to get the best handling characteristic out of the Tracer 29.

Feels like a freeride bike with xc capabilities.
Nice slack head angle is hard to find on bikes like this
I like the modular dropout system for geometry adjustments and axle configuration swaps
Adjustable spring rate on the shock is nice to have.
Direct mount front derailleur is the only way to go.
Zerk fitting for lubing the pivots is really cool
The wheelbase long but it is a 29er and an angle set would allow fine tuning of the ride quality.
