I needed a replacement rear cable and this fit the bill. The old cable was teflon coated. A coated cable wasn't available, so I went with this cable. It does the job.

Simple, affordable galvanized cable when you're fixing up a bike on the cheap. Come off a few pennies and buy the stainless stuff for your bike, it will last longer. Please note that while I would not recommend this to a friend, I do think it's a good product that fits a legitimate need and I'd buy it again, so long as it's for a bike I don't care that much about.

Not much to say, it's a stainless steel inner brake cable with fittings for both mountain or road bikes. Downside to double ending the cable is that you have to cut to install it, and the raw end may fray as you feed it through the housing. Also, no end crimp is included. Not a huge deal but again, it is basic.

When bought at a good price, these are great cables for budget rebuilds and maintenance. Perfect for those who rebuild bikes that you don't care too much for. it works, though not exceptionally well but nonetheless it works.
