these are soo simple and effective. much better than ugly frame patches.
they are secure, and leave no marks on the frame....i bought two boxes of both sizes for my new bike.....i've used one box each and the others i may use if i notice any more rubbing as i break-in the bike.
they are spendy though, and i'm retty sure they an sell these for less and still make a profit.

The Jagwire tube tops work as advertised, they keep your cables & brake hoses from rubbing the paint off your frame. Super easy to install, just snap them over the housing and you're done. Only slight downside is that if you transport your bike on your roof or in the bed of a truck standing up, once in a while the wind will manage to blow one of them off. It's happened to me twice over the past year, but they're cheap and I usually have a few spares laying around so it's no biggie.
