Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.

Us cross racers are among an odd bunch. It’s almost like we could never make up our mind between mountain biking or road riding. When we’re really serious about getting faster, we can become the serious type that turns to various diet plans and training patterns. That is until we spot a magical pink box filled with adorable little donuts, or until we become a recipient of an obligatory beer-handoff. Yes, we have our flaws, but it’s simply more fun that way. However, that doesn’t mean our race machines need to be flawed. When you take a gander at the Jamis Supernova Elite, you’d be hard-pressed to locate a fault.
Whether you're looking for a new bike to explore the stretches of your local fire roads, or gearing up to dominate the local cyclocross circuit, the Jamis Supernova Elite Bike 2016 is a versatile, drool-worthy rig that leaves nothing but dust and mud ruts in its wake. For the CX rider looking to step up their game this season, the Supernova Elite gives you the tools to nurture your penchant for speed while conquering the courses you used to fret over.
The Supernova Elite is constructed with Dyad Plus T700/FRP monocoque carbon fiber featuring a tapered head tube and portage formed tubing. Jamis’ ingenious carbon compaction process utilizes both silicone and polystyrene internal cores to support the frame shape while it is being pressurized within the steel mold, and added a vacuum purge procedure before molding that compresses and eliminates all air between carbon plies. The result is a near perfect compaction that eliminates fiber wash and wrinkles that equates a lighter, faster, stiffer, stronger frame. Jamis employs their Cross Fork made with a carbon composite 1-piece monocoque design with a tapered steerer and post disc brake mounts.
It’s now time to swing your leg over and get personal with the Supernova Elite and its SRAM 1x11drivetrain. The Rival shifters and rear derailleur were born out of the SRAM 1x11 groups of their mountain bike lines. These technologies have now transferred to the road, gravel bike and cyclocross world, delivering the simplified function of a single ring and the reduced weight of eliminating a front derailleur.
Ritchey takes control of the cockpit with a 4-axis stem, Comp Logic Curve handlebars, and a Road aluminum seatpost, joined by a Selle Royal Seta saddle. The Nova Pro gallops on Alex ATD 470 tubeless compatible rims which are laced to Formula sealed bearing disc hubs. Jamis wrapped the Alex ATD 470 wheels with Clement Crusade MXP folding tires, keeping weight low and your traction high. When it comes time to acrobat your way around tight, tricky courses, the SRAM Rival Hydraulic disc brakes provide confidence and control in your stopping power as you make those awkward hairpin turns.
It’s safe to say the Jamis Supernova Elite is a “serious” machine for “serious” podium hunters, however it won’t shy away from delectable pastries or foamy post-race spoils.
