This is an awesome chain! It was super easy to install, is very quiet and is maintenance free. No lube required, it's made of stainless steel and therefore should be very durable on my singlespeed. I love the fact that you don't have to oil it.

I'm a 6'1, 210 lbs single speed mountain biker. I've had a hard time finding an inexpensive chain that doesn't stretch after every hilly ride. But I've found this chain to be very strong and stretch resistant. I've been able to go on a number of rides before noticing any chain stretch at all. The chain is a little heavy, but for the price I think it's a great value.

I use the gold colored chain on most of my builds because....well why wouldnt I?!?
I dont have anything bad to say about these chains. People that dont know about bikes usually comment on it first and think its cool.

I replaced this chain from my weaker Shimano chain that always broke every time I pedal hard. I was looking for a beefier chain for my Haro Mary XC 29er (SS conversion) and was so satisfied since installing it. I would recommend this chain for those looking for a tough and affordable chain, but doesn't mind the weight.
