First off, I rarely write reviews, and typically do a TON of research before buying stuff for my bike. I thought I had done a great job, and followed the recommendations from friends in getting the KS Lev integra. I saw a few warnings online, and sadly, I'm experiencing the exact same problems.
First issue, is the dropper gets stuck in the down position if down for more than a minute. If I drop it for a quick 20 second descent, I can get it back up no issues. If my descent is somewhere around 40 seconds or more, it stays in the down position and I have to drop my butt on the seat to get it return back up.

I always had a little bit of play in the seat, but now after just 15 times of use I have at least an inch play at the top. Not only that, but the dropper doesn't even raise all the way up now. I have to pull it the rest of the way. It's mid season here on the east coast, and I don't want to send it in for repair to not see it again until riding season is over. I shouldn't have this problem while riding it only a dozen plus times. Such a disappointment.

This post is brand new as part of a new bike build. If I leave the seatpost in any position for a minute or two, it gets stuck. I have to bump the saddle to get the post moving again. Didn't read THAT part in the user manual.

I will get something else and remove this seatpost.

Do some research. Such "quality" seems the norm for KS.

Used a regular KS Lev for several years without problems so tried the integra on the new Santa Cruz Nomad. The integra uses the cable housing for the release mechanism instead of the cable itself, a strange setup that will not work well with many internal housing frames. Mine would not release smoothly. KS is aware of the problem and apparently an updated model will be out some time soon?

I ordered the dropper online and it was on my doorstep two days later at no extra charge. Everything was in perfect order.

I bought my first LEV two years ago on a trip to Fruita, bought my wife one three days later. We bring our bikes on trips to UT, CO and the UP and the LEV takes the experience to another level. Our original LEVS are as solid as the day I bought them.

I bought a Tracer 275 in June 2015, the dropper that came on the bike failed in four months of riding, replaced it with a LEV. After a couple weeks of riding, the new LEV feels and works better than the stock post did (like the ones I bought two years ago). I'm completely happy with the bike, it's awesome. Send me a another request for comment in a year or two, it'll be interesting to see how things play out.

I've had a reverb for about a year and rebuilt three times. My buddy had a reverb stealth and he is experiencing some problems with the dropper to go in full extend. This is my 2nd LEV and my first Integra internal routing. It looks clean and very reliable. I would suggest to buy a new cable housing and get top of the line to assure smoother press of button. The housing with the kit comes in all bent and deformed.
The mechanical version KS out weight the hydraulic (reverb)and I don't have to do any bleeding. More time to ride.

I was debating between the LEV and the Reverb and went with the LEV due to the handlebar lever design. It fits fairly well with my Shimano brakes and shifters. The position isn't perfect but it's becoming more natural with each ride. I have it mounted on a 2015 Trek Fuel.

My experience with the post has been pretty good overall. I read about the post getting stuck in place prior to buying and have had it happen when I leave the post down overnight and only once or twice on a ride. I've gone on 14 rides with it for around 170 miles. I usually cycle it a few times at the start of a ride and then have no issues. This is the only reason it gets a four for now.

Side note, whether you get this dropper or another, having a dropper has improved the flow on so many trails, it's been amazing!

My first experience with a dropper post. Pretty easy to install and set up. Good design and ergonomics of the shift lever. Small bit of play in the suspension part at full extension. Would expect no play at this price. Doesn't affect riding conditions at all though. Its just I know its there.

I was a long holdout for a dropper post, but finally decided to test the waters. The Lev Integra seemed like a good model to test. So far, I'm really glad I decided to finally install one and, after 10-12 hard sessions, it is still performing flawlessly.
I can't say it was easy to install, but it wasn't that difficult. For the amateur bike mechanic like me, it took patience and careful reading of the instructions, but it all came together just fine. Adjusting the cable and housing length and routing the cable/housing were the most trying steps.
I don't have a significant amount of time on the post yet, but so far, so good.

I can say that out of all of them the integra was the smoothest action of moving small increments or large increments at one time. I will also say it was the quietest operation up and down of any post.

Another huge plus of this dropper post is that it is serviceable by someone with knowledge but does not need to go to a service hub to be fixed or maintained.

It is pricey so i removed one star for that because at a $ amount i believe my fox dropper post was a better value.

Have been using this dropper post on my full suspension mountain bike twice a week for about four weeks now. So far so good. I like that you can change the internal pressure using a shock pump.

After I first installed it, found that it was squeaking pretty badly when actuated. Turns out it was the barrel nut rubbing against the clevis at the base of the post. Applied some grease and the squeaking went away. Highly recommend other users apply some grease to the barrel nut when installing.

Ergonomic lever and slick design. I love how it looks and feel when Im using it. Very neat.

It is a great quality seat post. the seat is really easy to adjust to your desired position. the action is very smooth and works great. I have only had it for a few weeks now and have had no issues

Working great on my Specialized Epic with the Specialized brand left hand remote.

These posts do have a break in period where they seem to want to stick but that's normal. Im told its because theyre so solidly built with such close tolerances, and I believe it. Once you have it set up and broke it there youre set to for miles and miles.

Works like it should, almost zero play in seat clamp, and has improved seals over last year's model. Plus the all black is a nice touch.

So far so good. This is my second KS. Love the first one so much had to get a second. Love the fact that you can open it up and service yourself. Replacement parts easy to find. Easy to install.

Post has worked flawlessly in both hot and cold temps and have seen zero sag. Best post I've owned.

There are a lot of dropper options these days but the KS LEV is still my favorite. It's rock solid and just works like butter. It's a little on the spendy side but in the long run it's worth the extra coin. Get the best and forget the rest.

Same issues as others. Post not returning w/o me pulling it up, leaking oil, loss of ~1" at top. It's back for warranty repair, but based on how prevalent failures are I'm not expecting much. There must be a fundamental design flaw.

Top notch quality and functionality. The lever is much better than some competitors, but they should automatically ship with the South Paw Actuator. Much easier to install than the other brands with the hydraulic hose!!

KS has been producing the non hydraulic actuation cables for a while. That means an easy installation and trimming of the cable without dealing with hydraulic hose trimming or bleeding just to get things installed.

My first dropper post was a RS and while the function was fine, the install of course required a bleed after cutting the line. The lever on the KS is also more durable and MUCH more ergonomic.

Just bought this and it is a great Seat Post. Responds fast and there are no set stop positions so seems endless.

Great product, and easy to install. Instructions are easy to follow. I bought a separate south paw lever and kept the stock lever as spare.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my dad, so far we haven't gotten it installed. What I can comment on is the fast shipping and great customer service.

Love the one functioning post I have, matched up with a modified XTR shifter as a dropper lever. Haven't had any issues with this one.

HOWEVER, the other one I had went back to KS 4 times and they refused to ever replace it with a brand new one, just kept fixing the old. Rick @ KS is a huge pain to deal with and his customer service is lacking.

I like the Ks integra because the cartridge costs $60-70 to replace. I don't have as much issues with the Ks due to great local support.

The KS Lev Integra Seatpost it´s good, but with problem at first uses: slow and not complete travel.

The KS Lev is a more reliable, and easy to install/service option than others. The mechanical cable is fairly simple to install.
I don't put 5 stars, because I'm not a huge fan of the ergonomics of the command. I'll try to do something to replace it.

Heard good things about the infinite adjustability - just heard nothing (until it was too late) about how it is constantly sticking. Have to bump it with my fist or are to get the thing moving. Incredibly frustrating. If you want to ride and have reliable adjustability on the fly, look elsewhere.

I have a KS Integral that came on my 2016 Trek Fuel (hopefully the two are the exact same, if not disregard this review). The best way to describe the action of the post popping back up is like an old man getting into a hot bath. It is no where near as fast as some other brands of dropper posts. With that being said its some times doesn't lock back into the upright position and needs to be shaken around to get it to stay. I believe I can blame this from raising the seat post a bit and adding additional tension on the cable. The plastic cable housing on the lever is also very delicate, along with the clamp for the lever. Be careful when working on your bike to not over tighten the screw in the slightest.
Any who, I'm looking forward to trying a different seat post.

I usually do not write reviews but I feel I should help my fellow bikers save some money and trouble, this is the worst dropper I ever had, only lasted alive 4 months and Im not an aggressive rider and for the 4 months it "worked" I had to give it a little bump so it could move, after that it leaked a lot of oil and lost travel distance exponentially until I got tired of it, then serviced it and then it happened again after 1 month so I threw it in the garbage.

In the summer, I mountain bike several times a week. I've been wanting a dropper seat post for a while now. After getting it and using it, I love it and it would be difficult to go back to a standard seat post. I like this particular dropper post because of the 150mm of drop, which is the largest drop I have seen. There is a little bit of play in the post, but it is nothing that I notice while I am riding. Time will tell if this is an issue in the future. I have logged about 200 miles with it so far and had no issues.

Regardless of the product, I have to say that Jenson is handling this with top quality service, I have mailed back the post and am waiting for a full refund.

give it few months of proper use and its a goner. my 2nd KS INTEGRA and on both posts, its leaking oil and looses 2 inches of travel.
plus the guy at warranty don't know nothing about anything, they don't stand behind their product.
